Tell us a bit about your business and the products/services that you offer?
We provide VAT advice to accountants, solicitors, business, and charities who don’t have their own in-house VAT specialist. This could be anything from advice on the VAT liability of a new product, help dealing with HMRC, the VAT treatment on the sale of a business, or the purchase of a property. This year, a lot of my work has been advising businesses on the VAT implications of sales and purchases with the EU following Brexit.
What is your favourite aspect about your business?
Everything! It is really satisfying. I get a question that seems impossible and then work through the legislation and the case law until I get to an answer.
Why did you choose to locate your business at Business Central?
Originally I was going to work from home but I missed the social aspect of being in an office and psychologically enjoyed getting up and going out to work. I looked at a few offices before Business Central but it was the best by far. The lovely modern surroundings, great connectivity, on-site gym (that I don’t use as often as I should!), plenty of parking, handy for the station, lovely staff and atmosphere is fantastic!
